Good News For Game Of Thrones’ Fan… Finale Of Season 6 Is Going To Be The Longest In Show’s History


Game Of Thrones finale is going to be a super-sized one. HBO has revealed the details of the final two episode of season 6 which includes titles detail and running time. The season 6 finale will air on June 26.

The ninth episode of the ongoing season 6 will air on June 19, and is titled as The Battle of the Bastards. As the name suggests the episode might see the long over-due confrontation between the show’s characters Jon Snow and Ramsay Bolton for the control of Winterfell and the North as a whole. As per HBO the running time of the ninth episode will be 60 minutes.

The finale which will air on June 26, is titled as The Winds of Winter, a nod to author George R.R. Martin’s forthcoming sixth novel “A Song of Ice and Fire Series,” which was intended to be released prior to this season.

The finale is the longest ever episode in the show’s history with running time of 69 minutes. Both the episodes are directed by Miguel Sapochnik, who last year directed the much acclaimed Hardhome episode. Game of Thrones- the age gap

 

The description of the final two episodes is yet to be released by HBO. However, you can catch the show every Sunday (up till 26 June) on Star World Premiere HD in India as it has got the telecast right for season 6 in India.
