FRIENDS was the TV show that captured the imagination of our generation. It made us connect with the struggle of 6 young friends trying to make it in the big city. It had something for everyone – be it Ross’s nerdiness, phoebe’s oddities, Chandler’s sarcasm and Joey’s charm. The show ran for ten seasons and even today we can find ourselves reminiscing about those days on occasion.
Now the ardent fans of the everyone’s super favourite show of all time have a reason to be ecstatic. We can take a trip down memory lane and enjoy a piece of ‘friend’s history in our own backyard – Kolkata. All thanks to the brother sister duo of Aditya and Mahima Bachhawat.

Thanks to them now you can sit in the iconic orange sofa and catch up with friends while sipping hot coffee or just follow Joey’s policy and ‘not share food’. They have recreated the ‘Central perk’ cafe which was almost a 7th member in the FRIENDS gang. While it’s not a an exact replica, it contains several trivia items that were an integral part of the show and thus succeeds in creating the right ambience.
